We are recruiting for a year round position for an Operations Manager for our client who is a ski specialist/tour operator.
The Ops Manager will have responsibility for the chalets, hotels and bars in the programme.
This role would suit someone who has worked previous ski seasons in hotel, resort or area manager roles and would like a year ound job working for an employer who delivers both summer and winter programmes.
You will be responsible for all operations related duties to ensure the set up, inventories, training and smooth running of the units.
The chalet managers and hotel managers will report into you so you will need to demonstrate experience in managing the following:
-liaising with the recruitment officer to ensure all positions are staffed
-all training and start up and close down for the resorts
-ensuring high customer service and service quality delivery if of the highest standard
-dealing with all finacial management of the properties within budgetary targets
-ensuring all H&S and maintenance of the properties is carried out
-ensuring that the sales targets and performance of the bars is controlled and targets met/exceeded
-ensuring that all catering and cuisine in the properties is to the highest standards and delivered on budget and quality control issues addressed
-ensuring that all inventory for all the properties is recorded and any new inventory is accounted for and any upgrading of furnishings in the properties is controlled
-manage the suppliers out in resort in respect of food, wine, househould, fuels and utilities |
You must have a catering, events, hospitality or tourism background with at least 2 years management experience.
-French speaker would be helpful
-must drive
Ideally have worked more than one winter ski season!
