Gap years are usually taken before you start your career, university or futher education. It can be spent travelling, to develop new skills through further study or to gain work experience. It's the chance for you to take time out while you can and there are an enormous range of options for you to look at.
You have the option to go anywhere in the world and you can do virtually anything. Some ideas you will have to be paid for, others may involve working abroad and being paid to work.
