Purple Ski is a privately owned company, providing catered chalet holidays in Méribel, France. We intentionally have just a handful of chalets, ranging from comfortable to luxurious and generally sleeping around 10-13 people, to enable us to focus on providing a high quality and personal service.
With 16 years of experience, we know that our staff are vital to being successful, so we are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and professional people to join us and help maintain and build on our excellent standards and reputation.
We take pride not only in making sure that our guests have the best possible skiing holiday, but also on being a great company to work for. We hire people based on their skills, experience and attitude and expect the highest standards of work from them, but in return, we make sure that they are well rewarded and get to spend the most time possible enjoying themselves. Many of our staff come back to do several seasons with us – we have at least 4 people from previous seasons back next year.

| The Chalet Assistant/Driver's main role is to provide a driving service for the assigned chalet in the mornings and afternoons, airport transfers on changeover day and to support other chalets in delivering an effective and comprehensive driving service and to support the rest of the chalet team in his/her assigned chalet, doing whatever is necessary look after the clients and manage the chalet effectively and efficiently (this may include cleaning, waitering/waitressing etc. No cooking is required.) |
Full driving licence and at least 3 years post qualification driving experience is essential.
Previous experience of driving large vehicles, on snow and/or overseas is highly desirable.
Prior hands-on experience in the hotel and catering industry in waitering/waitressing and/ or cleaning/chamber-maiding roles is highly desirable.
Good level of spoken French is desirable.
